The assignment for this project was to design a typeface specimen book for a typeface of our choice. I chose Archer, a typeface designed by the experts at Hoefler & Frere-Jones. I had taken a trip to San Francisco the previous summer and decided to use the map of the city as the background and theme. Archer's variation in weight and style left me with 16 variations of the typeface. I loved working with Archer, the combinaiton of the slab serif and playful ball terminals makes it such a diverse typeface.
